The Cover Letter

 

The cover letter should not be longer than one page. You can express your individuality in the cover letter. To do so, however, you must know what your personal abilities and requirements are that you can bring to the position.

The cover letter should always be tailored to the individual business. Never use a common letter that you send to all the various employers.

How you formulate the cover letter, depends on what company and position you are applying for. Whether you are applying to be a copywriter at a young media agency or as a speaker in public service, there are different boundaries for how to formate your application.

No matter what the grammar and spelling must be simple and correct and your formatting should be unified.
